Barrel Chambering/Installation

325.00

Chambering the barrel includes cutting/threading the barrel tenon to a tight and hand-lapped barrel to action fit, indexing the bore's curvature to the 12 o'clock position when the barrel is installed onto the receiver, cutting the chamber to your specification, and adjusting the headspace to .001" to .002". For the complete chambering operation, the barrel blank is carefully indicated via the bore within .00015" to .00025", and the finished chamber will show no measurable run-out in relationship to the bore, when measured with a .0001" dial indicator.
